Nav Kiran Mahila Vikash Producer Company Limited

Our little office is tucked away at Ashok Kumar’s place in Govind Nagar, right there in Aklera. Being a producer company run by women in this part of Jhalawar means there is always something going on. It is not a very formal environment. Usually, you will find a few of us sitting together and discussing the latest work while tea is being made in the back. We focus on what the local women are producing and how to get it out there. The building is just a regular house really, which makes it feel more comfortable for everyone who stops by. We have our papers spread out on the desks and sometimes children are running around outside while we work. It is practical and real. We do not have fancy marketing teams or anything like that, just a bunch of neighbors working together to try and improve things for our families. Jhalawar can be a tough place to get things moving, especially when the rains are heavy or the heat is too much to bear, but we manage. We handle the paperwork, talk to the members, and try to make sure everyone gets a fair deal for what they have grown or made. It is just everyday life for us at Nav Kiran Mahila Vikash, and we are fine with things being a bit simple and slow as long as the work gets done.
