Our setup for Vitthalsadhana Shetkari Producer Company Limited is based out of Beed, specifically in Sawargaon. If you know the area in Dharpur, you probably know where Balasaheb Vithoba Savant lives, as that is where we operate from. It is a quiet village spot, which is much different from the bigger towns nearby. We spend most of our time talking to the local growers about their yields and what the soil is doing this year. Being in Beed, the weather dictates everything we do. Sometimes it is too dry for comfort, other times the rain comes all at once and creates a mess, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We don't have a big corporate headquarters or any of that. It is just a room with some chairs and a wooden desk where we keep the records. Balasaheb is usually around if someone needs to drop off documents or ask a question about the company rules. It is a lot of grassroots work, making sure the farmers in Sawargaon have a way to organize their stuff together. It isn't always smooth sailing. There are days when the paperwork feels like too much for us, but seeing the trucks move out makes it feel worth it. We are just local people trying to make the agricultural side of things a bit more organized for the neighbors. No fancy promises here, just a lot of coffee, ledger books, and waiting for the harvest.
