We are located in Bolegaon, which is in the Ghansawangi taluka of Jalna district. You can find us at the place of Shri Pawar Machindra Wallabh. We call ourselves Udhavrao Patil Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s a local operation through and through. We started this because we wanted a way for the farmers in Bolegaon to have a bit more control over where their crops go. Most of us have been farming this land for as long as we can remember. The office is just a part of the house really, where we keep the ledgers and handle the phone calls. We don't have any employees in uniforms. It’s just neighbors helping neighbors. Jalna can be a dry place, so we spend a lot of time worrying about water and the next season's seeds. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re from the city. We’re just practical people doing a job that needs to be done. If there’s a problem with a shipment, we fix it. If someone needs help with their harvest, we see what we can do. It’s a simple way of living and working. We stay here because this is where our roots are. The work isn't always easy, and the money isn't always great, but it’s what we do.
