Turori Mahila Farmer Producer Companylimited

Over in Turori, which is a small place in the Omerga taluka of Osmanabad, we have our company. It is called Turori Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited. We use Pandurang Sambhaji Jadhav’s place as our main address. It is mostly a group of women who farm the land around here. Osmanabad can be a tough place for farming because it gets very dry. We all know each other well in the village. We started this producer company so we could help each other buy what we need and sell what we grow. We don't have any big corporate offices or fancy desks. We just meet up at the house and talk about the crops. Sometimes the meetings are quick and sometimes they take all afternoon if there is a problem with the harvest. We do the work with our own hands. It’s honest and it’s what our families have done for a long time. We aren't trying to sound like a big business because we are just local people. We handle the paperwork ourselves and try to keep things organized. It’s hard work being out in the heat all day, but we stay together as a group. Turori is our home and we just want to make sure our farming can keep going for the next generation. We don't use any flashy language, just plain talk about the land and our lives.
