We are located at House Number 94 in Navi Bej, which is in the Kalwan area of Nasik. Tulsai Farmers Producer Company Limited is really just a bunch of us from the village coming together. Nasik is known for its farming, but in Kalwan, we have our own way of doing things. Being at Navi Bej, we are right in the middle of where the work happens. We aren't some big corporate group with suits and ties. We are usually in our work clothes, dealing with the soil and the crops. The idea for the company came up because it’s getting harder to sell things as an individual farmer. We thought if we had a name like Tulsai Farmers Producer Company, maybe we could get a better handle on our supplies and our sales. Our office is just a regular house where we keep our files and meet up when the sun goes down. It's a very local thing. We talk about the rain, the pests, and how the roads are looking for transport. It’s not always easy, and we make mistakes with the business side sometimes, but we are all in it together. We’ve lived here all our lives, and this company is just the next step in trying to keep our farming tradition alive and working well for everyone in our small group. We just want to make a decent living from our own land.
