Tejaswi Kharonda Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are a group of farmers here in Kharonda. Most of us work around the Madvihira area. Ganpat Marhya Bheskar helps keep things organized at his place, which is where we usually meet. It’s mostly about getting our crops sorted and finding better ways to do things as a collective group. Farming is hard work, and doing it alone doesn't always work out well for the small guys like us. We started this company to handle our produce together and get some bargaining power. You can usually find someone around the office area in the morning before everyone heads out to the fields for the day. We grow the usual stuff you see around this part of the district. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a spot where we meet up to talk about the soil, the seeds, and what the weather is looking like for the next season. Some days are good, some are a struggle with the rain or the lack of it. We just try to help each other out with the paperwork and the selling part of the business. It’s a local thing, run by people who actually have dirt under their fingernails and know what it's like to work the land. We don't have big city ideas, just trying to make a living from the land we've got here. If you are passing through Madvihira, you'll see the fields where we spend most of our time.
