It’s a quiet place, mostly just us sitting around and talking about what crops are doing well and what we should try next year. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. Our only real goal is to make sure our farms keep producing and that we can make a decent living for our kids. Ahmednagar can be a tough place to farm sometimes because of the weather, but we are used to it by now. We focus on the practical side of things, like getting better seeds or finding ways to keep the soil healthy without spending a fortune. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. We aren’t looking to change the world, just to keep our bit of land in good shape for the next generation.
