Shrigomata Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group is located in Mahijalgaon, which is a small place in the Karjat part of Ahmednagar. We operate out of Nilesh Gajendra Shewale's place. Being a farmer producer company means we spend a lot of time out in the dirt and the sun. It’s a quiet village and we like it that way. Most of the people involved here are local farmers who have been working this land for generations. We don't have any flashy advertisements or a big public relations team. We just focus on the crops and how to get them to the market. Karjat can be tough for farming depending on the season, so we try to stick together to make things a bit easier for everyone. We handle the logistics ourselves, mostly. It’s about getting the seeds, planting at the right time, and then hoping the harvest is good enough to pay the bills. We talk about cattle, water, and soil every single day. That is just the life here. Our office isn't really an office in the city sense, it is more like a meeting spot where we decide what needs to be done next. We aren't experts in everything, but we know what we grow. It’s a simple operation built on hard work and knowing our neighbors. We just want to keep the farming tradition going while making sure the people doing the work get treated okay and earn enough to stay in the village.
