Shri Markandey Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at House Number 0222/1 in Khamgaon, within the Newasa taluka of Ahmadnagar. We are just a bunch of farmers from around the village who decided to team up. Farming in the Ahmadnagar area can be quite a challenge, especially when it comes to managing the water and the soil. We don't have a big office or any fancy staff. Our headquarters is just a house where we keep our books and meet to talk about the upcoming season. We aren't corporate people and we don't use marketing talk. We just focus on the work that needs to be done every day. We grow crops, we harvest them, and we try to find the best way to get them to the market without losing too much money. It is a constant struggle and there is always something to worry about, like the weather or the insects. We don't have any grand mission. We just want to make sure the farmers in Khamgaon can keep their heads above water. We share our tools and our knowledge because it makes things a little bit easier for everyone. It is honest, hard work and we are proud of what we do. If you are in the Newasa area, you’ll see us out there in the fields from sunrise to sunset.
