We set up Shivratna Krushi Producer Company Limited a while back. It’s mostly just us working out of Vijay Pawar’s place over at Santaji Nagar in Ahmednagar. If you know the area near Gat No. 4619/7023, you know it is a busy spot but we like it here. Being in Maharashtra, especially in a place like Ahmednagar, means we are always thinking about the soil and what the next season brings. Most of what we do involves the local crops and trying to get things organized for the farmers around here. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It's just a practical space where we handle the day-to-day work of the producer company. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their harvests and seeing how we can move things along. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We try to keep things straightforward. If someone stops by, they’ll usually find us looking over paperwork or talking about seeds. There are plenty of challenges in agriculture these days, and we are just trying to do our part from our little corner of the city. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just making sure the business side of farming gets handled properly for the folks who trust us. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year.
