We are the Shirur Nalegaon Farmer Producer Companylimited. Our place is located at House Number 240 in Patil Nagar, which is part of Nalegaon in the Chakur area. Most of us who are part of this live right here in the neighborhood. We are just a group of farmers who thought it would be better to work as a team. Farming can be a lonely job sometimes, and it's definitely hard to do everything alone. By having this company, we can share some of the costs and help each other find better places to sell our produce. We don't have a big staff. It's usually just a couple of us handling the books while the rest are out in the fields. We grow the same things our fathers and grandfathers grew before us. The soil in Nalegaon is good if you treat it right. We spend a lot of time worrying about the water and the market prices. It’s a lot of pressure, but having the group makes it feel a bit lighter. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big offices or shiny cars. We just want to make sure we can keep our farms running for another year. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, and we have to ask for help to figure it out. It’s a learning process for all of us. We meet up, talk about the weather, check the crop prices, and try to make the best decisions we can for everyone involved. It’s just a simple, local business run by people who know the land and the hard work it takes to grow something. We’ve been here a long time and hope to stay for much longer.
