Seedling Agro Ventures Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in a place called Takalimiya, which is in the Rahuri area. We operate out of House Number 420 on Plot Number 677 in Magar Vasti. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s very down-to-earth and quiet. We are a farmer producer company, which basically means we are a group of neighbors and local growers who decided to team up. The name Seedling Agro Ventures sounds a bit formal, but we are just regular people who know a lot about plants and farming. We spend most of our time at the house or out on the plots of land around Rahuri. The Magar Vasti area is where most of us live, so it made sense to put the office there. It’s not a corporate office with desks and computers everywhere; it’s more of a place where we sit on the porch and talk about the next planting season. We deal with all kinds of agricultural stuff, trying to make sure the ventures we take on actually help the local farmers. We are usually around during the day, unless it’s peak harvest time and everyone is in the fields. We just want to do good work here in Rahuri and help the agricultural community stay strong for the next generation of farmers.
