You can find us over at Balaji Sarangdhar Thore’s place in Gharegaon. That’s where Sbrt Farmer Producer Company Limited runs its operations. We are right in the Aurangabad district. It’s a local effort by a few of us who grew up around here. We handle the farming business from a small room that serves as our main office. It’s usually a bit messy with ledgers and sample bags of grain lying around. We don’t have a professional secretary or a lobby. If you show up, you’ll likely just find one of us drinking water and checking the rain gauge. The goal was just to combine our resources so we wouldn’t get pushed around by the middleman. It’s been a learning curve for sure. We make mistakes, and some days the books don’t balance right away. But we are honest people trying to make the farm work pay off. Gharegaon is where we live and work, so we care about what happens here. It isn't a high-tech operation, just some farmers trying to be smart about how they sell their produce. We don’t have any big speeches. We just do the work and hope for a good rain. It’s simple, really. There is always a lot to do, and we just take it as it comes without making any big promises we can't keep.
