At Samar Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited, we operate out of Wadgaon in Gangapur. Specifically, we’re at Shri Santosh Dhanraj Kawal’s house, number 277. We are a bunch of local guys who spend our days in the fields. We decided to form this company because it’s easier to handle the business side of things when you’re not alone. Gangapur is a good spot for what we do, and Wadgaon has been home to most of us forever. Our company isn't about looking important; it's about the practical side of agriculture. We talk about seeds, fertilizers, and where to sell the harvest. It’s a lot of manual labor and long hours, which is just part of the job. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. If you come by the house, you’ll probably just see us talking about the latest crop prices or the weather forecast. It’s a very grounded way of working. We take pride in what we grow, but we keep it simple. The company is just a way for us to stick together and make sure our hard work actually results in something. We’re just regular people trying to make a go of it in the farming world, one season at a time. It’s a slow process and we’ve learned to be patient with the land and the markets as we go along. Things usually work out if you put in the time.
