Salegaonsanjivani Farmer Producer Company Limited

This company is basically just a few of us farmers from Salegaon village. We use Avinash Mundhe’s house as our main spot to meet up. If you come to Kalamnuri and head towards Salegaon, you will find us easily. It is a quiet place where most people spend their days out in the fields. We named it Salegaonsanjivani because we wanted something local that felt right. Farming in Hingoli has its ups and downs. Sometimes the rain is just right for the turmeric and other times it is too much or too little. We spent a long time thinking about how to handle our crops better. Usually, a farmer works alone and has to talk to middle men who take a big cut. We thought it would be better to join up and see if we could get things done together. It is not like we have some grand plan, we just want to get a fair deal for the hard work we do under the sun. My cousin helps out with the paperwork because it can get confusing with all the rules. We sit on the porch and talk about which seeds worked well last year. The soil here is good if you treat it right. We are not some big corporate group from the city. We are just neighbors who have known each other for years and want to keep our farms running for another generation.
