Saishivar Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Shirdi. We are based at the address of Vishwanath Ramchandraudavant. This is in the Rahata Taluka within the Ahmednagar district, or A.Nag as some call it. Being in Shirdi, we see a lot of people coming and going for the temple, but our focus is mostly on the fields around the edge of town. Our office is just a part of Vishwanath’s house. It is a very simple setup. We don't have any big signs or fancy furniture. Usually, there are just some chairs and a table where we keep the books. We are a group of farmers who decided that joining up was better than working alone. We talk about the crops and the water and how the prices are looking in Rahata. It’s not an easy life, but it’s what we know. Most of us have been farming in this district for our whole lives. We don't use a lot of big words or have complicated plans. We just take it one season at a time. If you drop by, you might catch us during a meeting, which usually just involves a lot of tea and people talking at once. We are just local folks from Shirdi trying to make the farm work for us and our families. It’s honest work and we do it right here from the house, without making a big fuss about things.
