Saimauli Agrotech Farmer Producer Company Limited is located here in Kopargaon. We operate out of Milankumar Chavan’s place, right near the Indira Pathmadhav Udyan. It is a decent enough spot in Ahmednagar for the kind of work we do. We mostly deal with the technical side of farming, like trying to get better seeds or fertilizers for the local crops. It is not a big corporate setup at all. It is mostly just us trying to figure out the most practical way to grow things. We have many long talks about how the soil is holding up this year. Some days are much better than others. It gets really hot here in the summer months and that makes the physical work much tougher. We do not have any fancy words for what we do. We just work. Most of us grown up on these very same farms, so we know the local area quite well. We try to be helpful when a neighbor comes by with a question about their harvest. It is more of a community thing than a business sometimes. We started this to have a bit more say in how our stuff is sold. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing, but we manage to get through it eventually. We are not experts in everything, but we know this land. If you are near the garden, you will see our sign hanging out front. We stay busy no matter the season.
