Riddhishwari Farmer Producer Company Limited is located right at Gut No 02 in Wahegaongangapur. If you know the area, it’s pretty straightforward to find us. We aren't in a city center or anything like that. We are out where the actual work happens. Being a farmer producer company means we spend more time in the dirt than in an office chair. We set this up because we saw how hard it was for individual farmers in Wahegaon to get noticed. We have our meetings right there at the gut number, often under the shade if it's too hot. There is a lot of paperwork that comes with running a company, and honestly, we aren't always the fastest at it. We’d much rather be looking at the plants. But we know we have to do the business side to survive. The weather is always a gamble and some years are tougher than others. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just a few of us trying to organize the local harvests so we can get things to market without losing too much money. It’s a quiet place, mostly just the sound of the wind and the tractors. We take things one day at a time here. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know and we’re sticking to it together, hoping to make the next season a bit easier than the last one.
