Rahuritaluka Women Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Gokul Colony, over in Rahuri. We are based at Sahebrao Raosaheb Davkhar’s place. This is a group that was put together specifically for the women farmers in our area. Usually, the men handle the business side of things, but we wanted to show that we can do it too. It is a local collective. We grow our crops, manage the harvests, and handle the selling part ourselves. It is a learning process for a lot of us. We aren't experts in business, but we know how to farm. We meet up in the colony to talk about what seeds to buy or how to deal with the water situation. The atmosphere is very informal. There are no suits or big meetings here. It is just women from the neighborhood trying to make their farms better. Our pin code is 413705. We started this because we wanted a bit more control over our work. It is tough balancing the farm with everything else, but having this company helps us stay organized. We don't have any big slogans. We just work hard and try to get a good price for what we grow. It is about supporting each other and making sure our families are okay.
