Rahimatpur Vibhag Shetkari Producer Company Limited is a local group we set up in Borgaon. Our main address is at the house of Shri Bhagwat Pandurang Ghadage in the Koregaon taluka. We are all farmers from this area who wanted to find a better way to do our business. Instead of everyone going off on their own, we formed this producer company to pool our resources. It is not some high-level corporate entity with a lot of money. We are just regular guys who spend most of our time out in the sun working the soil. We use Bhagwat’s place as our base because it is central for many of us. When we have a meeting, it is usually about very practical things like where to get the best seeds or how to transport our vegetables to the market without spending too much. We don't have any professional writers or marketing people here. We just speak our minds and try to help each other out. Living in Borgaon, we understand the local challenges. Sometimes the market prices are low, and that is when having this company really helps us stay afloat. We keep things very simple and straightforward. We don't use big words or make huge promises.
