We are located at Survey Number 37 in the village of Sakat Khurd. Our mail goes to the post office at Shiradhon in Ahmednagar. Murlidhar Sadashiv Waghmode is the person who keeps this place running. We are a farmer producer company, which basically means we are a bunch of neighbors working together. The office is just a simple building on the farm, nothing special to look at. We spend most of our time dealing with the reality of life in rural Maharashtra. It is about the soil, the water, and the crops we can grow this year. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just speak our minds and do the work. Being in Sakat Khurd means we are away from the noise of the big cities, and we like it that way. It is peaceful here, though it gets very busy when the trucks come to pick up the produce. We try to keep our records straight and help each other out when the prices are low or the weather doesn't cooperate. It is a hard way to make a living, but it is what we know. Our families have been in this area for generations. We just want to keep the tradition going while finding a way to make it work in the modern world.
