Pavanagiri Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Madhi, which is a small place in the Ahmednagar district. Our office is actually at Navanath Bhagwan Markad’s house, number 448. It is a simple setup, nothing like those big offices you see in the cities. We are a group of farmers who decided to come together as a producer company. It makes sense because we all deal with the same issues every season. Whether it is the rain not coming on time or the market prices dropping, we talk about it all here. Being local is what we know. We spend our days out in the fields and then meet up here to figure out the business side of things. It is not always organized, and sometimes we spend hours just talking over tea before we get any real work done. But that is how things go in the village. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just have our crops and our hands. Ahmednagar is a tough place for farming sometimes, but it is our home. We are just trying to get a better deal for our produce by working as one unit. If you come by, you will likely find us sitting on the porch or in the main room sorting out papers. It is honest work. We do not pretend to be something we are not. We are just farmers looking out for each other and trying to make ends meet.
