In the village of Patewadi, inside Karjat, you will find Patewadikar Agro Producer Company Limited. Our office is at H NO. 152/2. It’s a small building, nothing too special. We are a group of producers from around the Ahmednagar district. Most of us grew up here and have been farming since we were kids. We decided to come together to make things a bit easier for everyone involved. It’s not a fancy business. We deal with the crops and the markets every day. Sometimes we meet up at the house to discuss the prices or the next planting cycle. It’s a community effort, really. The 414402 area is quiet most of the time, except when it’s harvest season. Then everything gets very busy. We don't have a lot of staff, just us and a few helpers when needed. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just grow things and try to sell them for a fair price. Life in Ahmednagar revolves around the land and the water. We worry about the rains just like everyone else. If you stop by, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea and looking over the ledgers. We’re just trying to keep the tradition of farming alive while moving forward a little bit. The soil here in Ahmednagar can be tricky if you don't know it well. We talk about that a lot during our breaks. We're just local people trying to get by. Nothing more, nothing less. It's just Patewadikar Agro doing its thing.
