Omkar Shetkari Producer Company Limited is over in Shelgaon Bondhade, which is part of the Malegaon taluka. We are based out of Shri Keshao Wazulkar’s place, which is right near the Shirpur center. We are a bunch of farmers from this part of the district who got together to handle our business better. Farming on your own is getting more expensive every year, so we formed this company to help with the costs. We don't have a big staff or any fancy marketing. Usually, it's just a few of us sitting around at the office near the center talking about market rates or what we should plant next. We deal with the usual crops grown around Malegaon. It’s a lot of coordination to get everyone’s harvest moved to the right place at the right time. The roads can be a bit rough during the rains, which makes logistics a headache sometimes. We aren't looking to become some massive enterprise; we just want to make sure the local guys get a better deal for their hard work. Most of us have been farming here our whole lives.
