We started New Abhinav Agriculture Farmer Producer Company Limited because a few of us in Akole were tired of trying to do everything on our own. Our main spot is over on Dhamgaon Road, specifically at Arun Laxman Nawale’s place. If you know that area of Ahmednagar, you know it’s mostly just farms and quiet roads. We aren't some big operation with a lobby or a secretary. Usually, you’ll just find Arun or one of the other guys sitting around talking about the latest prices or the water levels. Akole is a good place to live, but the farming life isn't always easy. We put this company together to give ourselves a bit more of a chance when it comes to getting our produce out there. We grow what the land here allows. Some days are good and some are pretty rough when the weather doesn't cooperate. We don't use any fancy talk or have big plans to expand all over the country. We just want to take care of our own business right here on Dhamgaon Road. Most of us have been in these fields since we were kids. It’s what we know. Working together just makes more sense than everyone struggling separately. It’s a very local thing, run by people who live right here in the neighborhood. We don't have much use for corporate rules. We just do the work and hope for a decent harvest each year.
