Naturenext Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited

Up in Yavatmal, we set up Naturenext Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited at House No 741 in Ward No 4 of the Lohara Vasant Gruhniraman Sanstha. It’s a residential area, so it feels very much like a community project rather than a stiff business. Yavatmal is known for its farming, but it hasn’t always been easy for the people working the ground. We wanted to change that a little bit. We named it Naturenext because we wanted to think about what comes next for our land and our kids. The office is basically just a desk and some chairs in a room where we keep our records. People from the Sanstha and nearby villages stop by all the time to ask about seeds or how to join the group. We aren't professional businessmen; we are farmers who had to learn how to run a company on the fly. There are mistakes sometimes, and the paperwork can be a headache, but we are doing it for the right reasons. We don’t have a big marketing budget, so we just talk to people one-on-one. It’s a slow process, building something like this from the ground up in a neighborhood like Lohara. We just want to make sure the farming here stays viable so the next generation doesn't have to leave for the big cities just to survive. It is about keeping our roots here.
