We are Narishram Mahila Farmer Producer Companylimited. Our base is in Someshwar, which is part of Ratnagiri. Specifically, we are at Shri Alim Sitaram Govind's place. The pin code here is 415639. Ratnagiri is a beautiful area, and Someshwar is where we feel at home. Our group is made up of women from the local community. We don't have a corporate office in a big city. Instead, we work out of this simple space. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't from around these parts, but we like the quiet. The air is different here than in the crowded towns. We spend our days coordinating things for the farmers. There’s a lot of paperwork and a lot of talking to people. We don't use fancy words or have big meetings in boardrooms. We just sit together and figure out what needs to happen next. Shri Alim Sitaram Govind has been helpful with the space. We’ve got some chairs and some basic equipment to keep things running. Most of us have lived in Ratnagiri our whole lives. We know the land and the people. It’s not about becoming some giant corporation. We just want to do our bit for the local women and the farms. It’s a slow and steady process. Some days are harder than others, but we just keep showing up and doing the work.
