Narandi Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is situated at House Number 673 in Shingnapur. This is in the Kopargaon taluka of Ahmednagar. We are just a group of farmers who live right here in the village. We’ve known each other for years, growing the same crops and facing the same problems with the weather and the markets. We decided to put our resources together and start this company. It’s a lot of work to manage the business side, but it helps us get better deals on things we need for the farms. The office is right in the heart of Shingnapur, so it’s easy for any of the members to drop by and chat. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It’s mostly just us sitting around a table and deciding what needs to be done. We focus on the basics of farming. No one here is trying to be a big-shot executive. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, but we help each other out. It’s about the community coming together to solve problems that we couldn't solve on our own. We work the land every day and this company is just another tool to help us do that. There are no fancy promises here, just a bunch of local guys doing their best to keep the farming tradition alive. We take things one season at a time and hope for the best.
