Mule Farmers Producer Company Limited is run out of Jawalgakarla. Our main contact point is with Daryappa Baburao Mule at his place. We are a group of farmers who live around here and we decided that working as one unit makes more sense than everyone going at it by themselves. Jawalgakarla is a quiet place where most people are thinking about the soil and the rain most of the time. We are not a big corporation with lots of money. We are just local folks who know how to grow crops but needed a better way to handle the selling and the buying of what we need for the fields. Daryappa Baburao Mule is who handles most of the coordination for us. We meet up when we need to and talk about what is going on with the land. It is not always easy, and sometimes the market is not kind to us, but having the company helps a bit. We do not spend much on things that are not necessary. The office is just a room where we keep the ledgers and have our discussions. Most of our work is done outside anyway. If you are in Jawalgakarla, you will probably see us out in the fields more often than in the office. We are just trying to make a decent living from the land we have always known. It is plain and simple work, and that is how we like to keep it.
