Leisa Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out at Gat No. 235/1 in Pimparkhed. We’re in the Jamkhed area, part of the A.Nagar district. It’s a rural spot, and that’s exactly where we want to be. Most of our day is spent talking to the folks who grow the crops around here. We don't have a polished office with glass walls. It’s just a regular building where we keep our supplies and our records. We’ve got a lot of paperwork to deal with, but we prefer being outside. The sun can be pretty hot in Jamkhed, so we usually start our work very early in the morning. We try to be helpful without making things too complicated. Farming has enough problems without us adding more. We look at things like seeds and how to get a better price for what’s grown. It’s just us and a few locals working together. We don't have a lot of rules, just that the work has to get done right. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we fix them and move on. Pimparkhed is a small community, so everyone knows what we’re up to. We try to keep things transparent and honest. We’ve been at Gat No. 235/1 for a while now and it feels like home. It’s a simple operation, run by people who actually know what it’s like to work the land and deal with the seasons.
