We are located at Tarabai Kailas’s place in Babhulgaonnagare, which is part of Gangapur taluka. Krushiyaan Farmers Producer Company Limited is just a group of us who came together because farming on your own is getting harder every year. Here in the Aurangabad district, the weather is never quite what you expect it to be, so we spend a lot of time sitting around talking about the crops and what the market might do. It is not some big office, just a room where we keep our books and meet up after being out in the fields all day. We deal with whatever is in season, mostly grains and whatever else is growing well in the local soil. It’s a lot of work getting everyone coordinated. Some days the rains are good and everyone is happy, other days we are just trying to figure out how to get the supplies we need without spending too much money. Most of us have lived here our whole lives and know every patch of dirt in the village. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation, just a bunch of local farmers trying to get a fair shake. We have our hands in the dirt most mornings before the sun gets too hot. Usually, you can find one of us near the post office or over at Tarabai's place if there is paperwork that needs doing. It's just simple life and hard work here.
