Krushisanket Farmer Producer Company

Krushisanket Farmer Producer Company is situated in Warwand, which is in the Buldhana Taluka. We use Hemraj Ajabrao Deshmukh’s place for all our administrative stuff. It is not much of an office, just a room where we keep our files and meet up when the sun goes down. Most of us spend our daylight hours in the fields. We grow a variety of things depending on what the season allows. Buldhana can be a hard place to farm if the weather does not cooperate, but we have been doing it a long time. We decided to form this company so we could have a bit more say in how our stuff is sold. It is better to work as a group than to be isolated. We share our knowledge and sometimes our equipment if someone is in a bind. There is no corporate polish here. We are just local farmers with dusty boots and calloused hands. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing, but we help each other out with it. We do not have any big promises to make. We just want to do our work, look after our crops, and make sure we can provide for our homes. It is a lot of waiting on the weather and hoping the insects stay away from the leaves. That is the reality of our life here in Warwand.
