Krushinirnay Farmers Producer Company Limited is located right near the bus stand in Chanda, which is in Taluka Newasa. Our address is Ghar No 1067/1. It’s a busy spot because of the buses coming and going, so it makes it easy for farmers from the surrounding villages to drop by. We started this group because the individual farmers in Newasa needed a way to pool their resources. Being near the bus stand means we are always in the middle of the local activity. The space itself is pretty simple and mostly used for storing paperwork and having quick meetings about the current crops. We deal with whatever the season brings us, whether that’s grain or other local produce. Everyone involved lives nearby and knows the soil here pretty well. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We are just a bunch of neighbors in Chanda trying to make the farming life work a bit better for everyone involved. Sometimes the shed gets a bit dusty and the phone line is spotty, but we get the work done. You can usually find someone there during the day if the weather is okay for travel. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on what’s happening in our own fields and how to get those goods to the people who need them. Most of the time we are just busy with the day to day stuff that comes with living in Newasa.
