We are located at Mhasaltal in the Newasa area of Ahmednagar. Krushibindu Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us local folks who decided to pool our resources. Farming around Ahmednagar can be a bit of a gamble depending on the monsoon, so we thought being a producer company would help us stay a bit more stable. We don't have a flashy office with air conditioning. Usually, we just meet up at one of the houses or out by the fields to talk shop. We deal with all sorts of local crops and try to figure out the best way to get them to the people who need them. It’s a lot of trial and error. Some days are good, some are pretty tough. We don't use a lot of complicated words to describe what we do. We grow things, and then we try to sell them. Simple as that. The paperwork for the company can be a headache sometimes, but it’s worth it if it means we get a slightly better deal. Most of us have been neighbors for years, so there's a lot of trust involved in how we run things. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big numbers or fancy talk. We just want to make sure the farming stays sustainable for the next generation. It’s a quiet life in Mhasaltal, and we like it that way. We're just doing our thing.
