Kohaj Krushi Samruddhi Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in Guhir, which is near Hamrapur in the Wada area. Santosh Gaikar’s house at number 74 is where we handle the business. It is a Palghar district company through and through. Most of the people involved are just local farmers from around the village. We started this because doing things alone was getting harder every year. In Wada, the weather can be a bit unpredictable, so having a group helps us manage things. We aren't doing anything flashy here. We just gather the produce and try to figure out the way to move it to the markets. The office is really just a desk in the house. You won't find a big sign or a lobby. People just walk in when they need something. We talk about seeds, fertilizers, and who is planting what this season. It's a simple life in 421303. The roads are okay, but during monsoon, everything slows down. That's when we sit around and plan for the next cycle. Kohaj is a name we liked because it feels local to us. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the papers are signed and the farmers get their share. It's a lot of manual work and checking the fields. We keep it straightforward. No need for anything extra. Just farming and the occasional meeting to keep things moving.
