Kisanvishwa Farmers Producer Companylimited is right in the middle of the bustle at the Market Yard in Rahuri. If you’ve ever been to the yard, you know it is full of noise, tractors, and people shouting about prices. Our office at Survey Number 17B/331/63/9 is where we try to make sense of all that chaos. Being in Ahmednagar district, we deal with a lot of different crops depending on what the weather decides to do. Our group is made of people who understand what it means to work a long day and come home exhausted. We aren't interested in sounding like a big city firm. We speak plainly and handle our business the same way. The Market Yard is a great place to be because we are right where the buying and selling happens. It saves us a lot of time. We spend most of our hours talking to other farmers who come through the yard, sharing news about what is working and what isn't. The space we have is small and usually a bit dusty because of all the trucks passing by outside. We don't mind it, though. It feels like the right place for us to be. We just want to make sure the folks around Rahuri have a fair place to come together and handle their agricultural business without too much fuss or complication. It is just real life for us here.
