Kharat Brother'S Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically what the name says it is. It is run by us, the Kharat brothers, along with some other local folks from the area. We are located near the VIP Hostel in Mahalaxmi Nagar, on the Juna Parner Road. It is a decent location for us because it is easy for people to find. We started this because we wanted to do more than just grow things and sell them to whoever happened to come by. We wanted to have a bit more control over the whole process. Our father, Rameshwar Dagadu Kharat, taught us most of what we know about the land and how to work it. We are not experts in big business, but we know how to work hard and we know our crops. The office is close to the hostel, so it is easy to find if you are looking for us. We spend most of our time dealing with the actual crops and talking to the other farmers who are part of our little group. It is a lot of back-and-forth, trying to get the best for everyone involved. We do not have a lot of fancy equipment in the office, just the basics to keep things running properly. We prefer being outside anyway. If you are on Juna Parner Road, you can drop by. We are usually around, either working on the books or out talking.
