Kbkisan Farmers Producer Company Limited

Kbkisan is located at Shop No 1 in Jogashavari Akhada, right here in Rahuri. Babasaheb Krushnaji Bhujadi runs the shop and that’s where we all meet. We aren't some big city outfit, we're just local farmers from the Rahuri area. We put this producer company together because we wanted to have more control over what happens with our crops after we harvest them. Being at the Akhada makes it a convenient spot for everyone to drop in. It gets pretty loud and active on market days, but that’s when most of the work happens. We handle things like seeds, fertilizers, and just general advice for each other. It’s not always perfectly organized, and sometimes the shop gets crowded with bags and equipment, but it works for us. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we know the land pretty well. There’s no big management team, just a few of us who take turns helping out with the books. We wanted a way to pool our resources so we aren't at the mercy of every little market shift. It’s a lot of manual labor and long hours, but doing it through the company makes it feel a bit more stable. If you're passing through Rahuri, you'll see our little shop easily. It's a humble place, but it's where we get things done. We don't need much more than that to keep going.
