We are located at Sr. No 2228 in Rashin, which is part of Karjat in the Ahmednagar district. It’s a dry area mostly but we make do with what we have. Kangude Farmers Producer Company Limited started because a few of us locally wanted to see if we could handle our own sales instead of just giving crops to the middleman. The weather here in Maharashtra can be tough, especially when the rains don't show up on time, but that is just how farming goes. We spend most of our days out in the fields or sitting in the small office area trying to figure out the paperwork that comes with running a producer company. It isn't always easy and some days are slower than others. We grow what the soil allows and try to keep things moving. Most people around here know us as neighbors first. We don't have fancy machinery or a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a dusty spot where we store some bags and talk about the market prices.
