We started Jangalmoti Farmer Producer Company Limited because we wanted to do something for ourselves here in Akole. Our office is right on Dhumalwadi Road in the Vishramgad Housing Society. Most people around here know the spot. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers about what they need for their crops and how to get things to the market. It’s a lot of work honestly. Being in Ahmednagar means we deal with a lot of different weather and soil stuff. We don't have fancy office furniture or anything like that. Just some chairs and a desk where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes it gets crowded when a few of us show up at once. We're just trying to make sure the work gets done right. The address is 148 Vishramgad Hsg Soc and that is where the main decisions happen. We aren't trying to be some big corporate thing. We are just local people trying to help other local people get their produce sorted. If you walk down the road, you’ll find us easily. We focus on the daily tasks of the farm company. There is always something to fix or someone to meet with. It’s quiet usually, but things pick up during the harvest season. We try to keep it simple and honest. That’s just how we operate here in Maharashtra. It is a group effort and we just take it one day at a time.
