Jaibhadra Hi-Tech Producer Company Limited

Jaibhadra Hi-Tech is based at Krushna Bhanudasrao Dhage’s place, House Number 3 in Panshendra. It’s in the Jalna district, and if you’ve ever been to Panshendra, you know it’s a small, hardworking community. The 'Hi-Tech' part of our name might sound like we are some big tech firm, but really it just means we are trying to use better methods for our farming. We use polyhouses or better irrigation when we can afford it. Krushna was kind enough to let us use his house for the company address. It’s a casual setup. You’ll usually find someone sitting outside talking about crop prices or the latest pest problem. Jalna gets really hot, so we do most of our heavy work early in the morning. We started this producer company because the old way of doing things wasn't really working for us anymore. By sticking together, we have a bit more say in what happens to our harvests. It’s not always smooth sailing. Sometimes we have issues with the electricity or getting the right supplies delivered to House No. 03. But we keep at it. We aren't looking to become millionaires overnight. We just want to make sure the work we put into the ground actually pays off at the end of the season for everyone in the group.
