Habib Fabrication

Habib Fabrication is just a regular workshop here in Newasa. We spend most of our days working with metal and welding stuff together. It gets pretty hot inside the shop, especially during the summer months in Ahmednagar, but we are used to it by now. The floor is always covered in scraps and dust from the grinding machine. Sometimes people come in with small repairs, like a broken gate or a tractor part that snapped off, and we just try to get it fixed so they can go back to their work. It’s not a fancy place at all. Most of the time, the radio is playing in the background while we work. We’ve been at this for quite a while now. Some days are very busy and we stay late until the sun goes down, while other days are a bit slower and we just sit outside for a bit. There’s always someone stopping by to ask if we can make something specific for their house or farm. We don’t have any big office or anything like that, just the main area where the tools are kept. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how it is when you’re cutting and joining metal all day long. We know most of the people around here in the Taluka. It’s just how things are run around here, keeping busy with the hands and making sure the welding holds up well enough for whatever they need.
