We started Galhati Farmer Producer Company Limited because we needed a way for folks around Shahapur Ambad to work together. It’s just a group of us from around H No. 40. We spend most of our time out in the fields or at the office, figuring out how to get things done better. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. Just a few rooms and a lot of paperwork. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate or the prices shift. We mostly deal with local crops and trying to make sure everyone gets a fair shake. Being in Ambad, we're right in the middle of everything here. Most people around here know where we are located. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just local people doing the work. You might find us busy with seeds or talking to the other farmers in the area. We've been at House Number 40 for a while now. It’s a practical place to keep our equipment and meet up when we need to discuss the next harvest. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty, and the phone doesn't stop ringing, but that's just how it goes when you're running a producer company. We just keep moving forward one day at a time. It’s about the work and the people, nothing more than that. We just show up and do our bit.
