Dnyanumang Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our little company is located at R 336, Gate Number 39 in Hanuman Nagar. Dnyanumang Farmers Producer Company started because we wanted to have a bit more control over what happens to our harvests. In Hanuman Nagar, most of us have been farming for as long as we can remember. The office is just a simple room where we keep our files and meet up after the day's work is finished. It’s usually pretty quiet until we all get together to argue about which fertilizers to buy or when to take our stuff to the market. We aren't business experts with suits and ties. Most of the time, our clothes are covered in dust from the fields. We just want to make sure we aren't getting a bad deal when it comes time to sell our produce. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything organized, and sometimes we fall behind on the paperwork because there’s so much to do outside. We have a lot of respect for the land and we just want to keep doing what our fathers did, but maybe a bit more efficiently. There aren't any big speeches here, just honest talk between neighbors who share the same problems. We’re just trying to make a decent living out of the soil we have and help each other out when things get difficult.
