Big Kisan Farmer Producer Companylimited

Our office for Big Kisan is located on Astagaon Road in Ahmednagar, specifically near the Charirahata area. It’s at House Number 268. Even though the name sounds a bit big, we are really just a small group of local farmers trying to get things organized. Being on Astagaon Road means we see a lot of the local traffic and farmers coming in from the fields. We spend our time coordinating between the growers and the buyers. It’s not a polished operation. The office is often full of samples of grain or whatever else is being harvested at the time. We don’t have a receptionist or anyone to make fancy presentations. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the phone or checking the latest market rates on a scrap of paper. We started this because we were tired of being pushed around by the bigger players. We figured if we pooled our resources, we’d have a better chance. It’s been a lot of learning. We’ve had some long nights trying to sort out transport or dealing with crops that didn't turn out as expected. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to keep the lights on and make sure the farmers get paid. It’s basic, everyday work. We’re just regular people trying to make a living from the land we know.
