Bhoomimata Mahila Farmer Producercompany Limited

We’ve been working out of house number 1565 in Sawalwada for a bit now. Most of us here in Malgaon know how the land is in Sindhudurg. It's not always easy, especially when you're a group of women trying to organize things under the name Bhoomimata Mahila Farmer Producercompany Limited. We just gather up what we grow and try to figure out the market together. It started small in this part of Sawantwadi. If you walk past the Malgaon area, you'll probably see us busy with something or other. The address is a bit of a mouthful, H No 1565 Sawalwada Malgaon, but it’s where we do all our meetings. The paperwork for the producer company takes up some time, but mostly we just talk about the crops and what the season is doing to the soil. People around 416510 know us as the local ladies working the farms. It’s hard work, frankly. Some days the sun is too much, and other days we’re just happy to get the harvest in. We don't have a fancy office or anything, just this spot in Sawantwadi. We take care of the paperwork and the distribution from here. It's just a bunch of us from the village trying to make sure the farming pays off for everyone involved. Not much more to it than that. We stay busy with the seeds and the soil every day.
