You can find us over in Nimgaonjali, which is in the Sangamner Taluka of Ahmednagar. We operate out of Sujata Avinash Thete’s place. It’s a local operation, through and through. We are the Bhagwatimata Farmers Producer Company Limited, though mostly people just know us by our names. We are a bunch of farmers who realized that we could get more done if we stopped trying to do everything alone. Farming in Ahmednagar has its ups and downs, especially with the water and the heat. By being a company, we can share tools and ideas, which helps a lot when things get tough. Our office isn't much to look at—it’s just a part of the house where we keep our records and have our meetings. We aren't professional managers; we’re people who spend our days in the dirt and the sun. We take care of the buying and selling for the group so the individual farmers can focus on their crops.
