Beegale Foods and Marketing is our company, and we spend our days trying to figure out the best way to get food products from the farms to the people who eat them. Shivaji Chowk is a busy spot, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside our door. We deal with a lot of different things, from basic grains to more processed food items, and then we try to find the right markets for them in the city or nearby. It is a lot of phone calls and a lot of sitting around checking prices on the computer when the internet allows it. We are a farmer producer company, which means we are owned by the people who actually grow the food on their land. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. Our main thing is just making sure the food doesn't go to waste and the farmers get some money for their hard work. Some days are stressful when the transport doesn't show up or the weather ruins a batch of produce, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is a very hands-on kind of job for us.
