Ashertech Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our company is based in Avhane Khurd, which is over in Shevgaon. Ashertech Farmers Producer Company Limited isn't as high-tech as the name might make it sound. We are just a bunch of farmers from the village. We have our fields here and we decided to join up so we could handle our business better. It's a lot of work to manage the seeds, the water, and then trying to find someone to buy the harvest for a good price. We usually meet up at one of our houses to discuss what we are going to do for the next month. There isn't a front desk or a lobby here. You’ll mostly find us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of dust. We deal with the crops that grow well in the Shevgaon soil. Some years the rain is good to us and everything is easy. Other years, we have to scramble to make ends meet. It’s just the way it goes when you work with nature. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk. We just want to make sure the work we put in during the day actually results in something we can live on. It’s a simple, local operation run by people who have lived here forever. We just keep our heads down and keep working the land.
