This group started up in Shingave, which is a small post in the Shirpur taluka. We are all local women here. Suvarnaa Sunil Bhaamare is the one who helps keep things together at her house. Arunavati Parisar Women'S Farmers Producer Company Limited is basically just us trying to do something for the ladies who work the farms around Dhule. It gets very hot out here and the work is never-ending, so having a company of our own made sense for our lives. We aren't trying to be some big city business with fancy suits. Most of the time we’re just sitting together at the post Shingave address and talking about the harvest or the children. It’s a quiet life in the Dhule-425405 area but we stay busy. People know us around here. We deal with whatever the season brings us. Sometimes it’s cotton or whatever else is growing in the Shirpur dirt this year. We don't have fancy brochures or a front desk with a secretary. It is just a bunch of farmers who happen to be women, trying to make sure our families get by. The office is really just a part of the home. You’ll find us there most afternoons when the field work is finally done for the day. It’s nice to have a place that belongs to us. We’ve been working these lands in Maharashtra for a long time, and now we just do it under this name. It feels a bit official but the actual work is still just the same old farming we have always done.
